METSOLAN OTUKSET (METSOLA CREATURES)

A community art project in Espoo, Finland, 2021. 

Commissioned by EMMA Espoo Museum of Modern Art, in collaboration with AFRY Ark Studio and Espoo City.

The large mural on a 70 metre-long construction fence brightened the Tapiola residential area while a new nursery school building was being constructed. The works on the fence were original ink drawings by local children, created during workshops held for nursery school children and youths from the NGO All Our Children’s integration groups.
